In having this blog for 20 months now (!) I’ve found it fun and nostalgic to turn back from time to time and check out old entries, especially those leading up to the wedding. This week in honor of Throwback Thursday I thought we’d take a look a post from mid-April last year — and I stumbled upon one about shoes, a topic we all know I love dearly.
My wedding shoes were nothing of the sparkly variety, despite what friends and readers might have predicted. In the end, it was all about being true to my inner little girl — and she loves hot pink. So I went with a striking pair of Valentino stilettos with a big old bow on the front. A dear friend of mine in Texas wears hers for her anniversary each year, a tradition I plan to borrow and uphold. There’s something very magical about the wedding shoe!
